All month long, our Windermere Greenwood brokers and staff donated funds to help purchase turkeys, canned and perishable items for local families in need this holiday. During the holidays, canned pumpkin and yams, cranberry sauce and box stuffing, can help families have at least some of the traditional holiday fare.
Working with the Greenwood Boys & Girls Club, we spent the morning organizing all the ingredients for Thanksgiving dinner for 21 neighborhood families!
This is just one way that Windermere Greenwood donates our time and money through the Windermere Foundation to support local non-profit organizations in our community. If you’d like to help us continue to support these and other programs this holiday season or beyond, please let us know!
Thank you to everyone who supports the Windermere Foundation. Your generosity is truly making a difference in the lives of many families in our local communities.
Windermere Greenwood wishes all of you a bountiful Thanksgiving with family and friends!
Windermere and the Seattle Seahawks have come together to help #tacklehomelessness in our community.
As part of that campaign, our office is participating in Windermere’s
“We’ve Got You Covered” winter drive.
From October 17 through November 14, we are collecting new hats, scarves, gloves/mittens, and warm socks for YouthCare, a non-profit that provides support and services to homeless youth throughout the Puget Sound area.
Each night in Seattle, nearly 1,000 young people are homeless. Please help them stay warm during the cold winter months by dropping off your donation to our office in the Greenwood neighborhood at 311 N 85th St. Seattle, WA 98103 during the drive.
Help Mary’s Place raise over $250,000 to open a crisis-response winter night shelter and bring Seattle families inside at night.
We need to make sure NO CHILD SLEEPS OUTSIDE in Seattle this winter. With your help, we can make our goal of moving families out of encampments, doorways and cars and into safe, emergency shelter.
Windermere Greenwood is getting behind the “No Child Sleeps Outside” effort too! Our goal is to raise $5,000 amongst our real estate brokers & staff with donations and matching funds from the Windermere Foundation to make sure every homeless family in Seattle has shelter during the holiday and cold winter months.
We’re Half Way There!! We’ve collected $2,500 so far as of Wednesday, December 17th
Thank you Spady family, Dick’s Drive-In and all the sponsors and individuals who have already helped this crowdfund campaign project! Let’s help them meet their goal!
Every child deserves to start the year out on the right foot, so we recently hosted the Windermere Kicks for Kids sneaker drive for low-income youth. On August 29, more than 1,600 pairs of shoes were handed out to kids at Boys and Girls Club of King County and Mary’s Place—just in time for the first day of school.
Giving back to the community is at the core of everything Windermere does. Since 1989, we’ve donated more than $26 million to the Windermere Foundation, which funds services for low-income and homeless families. It’s all a part of our belief that service to others is not something you do, it is who you are.
