Kicks for Kids Collects 1,600 Pairs of Sneakers!

Every child deserves to start the year out on the right foot, so we recently hosted the Windermere Kicks for Kids sneaker drive for low-income youth. On August 29, more than 1,600 pairs of shoes were handed out to kids at Boys and Girls Club of King County and Mary’s Place—just in time for the first day of school.

Giving back to the community is at the core of everything Windermere does. Since 1989, we’ve donated more than $26 million to the Windermere Foundation, which funds services for low-income and homeless families. It’s all a part of our belief that service to others is not something you do, it is who you are.
